Depression:- a big issue in upcoming days

Good morning .

Hope you all are fine and safe. Salute to you all warriors who making us safe from the pandemic COVID 19.

I am going to share my views on Depression which is a very big issue today and for the upcoming time. In world 8 lack people suicide every year in which India’s contribution is 17% and the most surprising is India’s total population is 17.5%. In which at a time of every each successful suicide their is for attempts is found. The data says every year every 40 second on person make suicide. It shocked me and I am fail and not able to stop myself from sharing these data, reasons, symptoms and solutions. In India it is recorded in 2018 yearly figure of suicide rate by students turned out to be highest over 10000. 28 student suicide in every 24 hrs. According to NCRB data that 8% of total estimated above 1.3 lakh death due to suicide is done by student, same number is of farmer and 10% are unemployed or jobless person.

For the upcoming time, I am using this term because in this period of Covid19 world is going to suffer from the very worst economy. Many people all around the world become jobless. Daily in the newspaper, we get new updates on unemployment. A data says,

The unemployment rate had started to rise even before the lockdowns and stood at 8.7 per cent for the full month of March. “This is the highest unemployment rate in 43 months. Or, since September 2016. The rate has climbed rather steeply from the 7.16 per cent level of January 2020,” Mahesh Vyas, chief executive officer of CMIE, wrote on the website.

The unemployment rate during this last week of March was 23.8 percent. Labour participation rate fell to 39 percent and the employment rate was a mere 30 percent, says CMIE.

In America, 1.4 Million have lost their job and farmers who are also suffering, Retailers, tourist guides, and many people who earn daily and spend daily are in big trouble in this days.

That’s why I am saying Depression is a big issue because people fear of their safety and security. Govt. will be responsible for this in the coming days because they are failing in winning their beliefs and hope. They are fail in concerns of providing basic needs to people of foods and security.

So after seeing this I projected myself to share my views how can we overcome from the word depression .

Depression is a common and serious medical illness the negatively affects how you feel, the way you think and how you act.

The reason are :-

  1. Fear of family security
  2. Heavy workload
  3. Pressure of perfection
  4. Pressure of grades and jobs
  5. Fail many time in work

This raises the risk of suicide attempt symptoms:-

  • Depressed or irritable mood
  • Sleep problem(sleeping too much or sleeping too little)
  • Excess guilt or unrealistically low self-image.
  • Change in Interest, low energy, low concentrations
  • Panic attack
  • Suicidal thought

Practice do copping skills every day

  • Find small ways to service others
  • Find workable goals that give you feel of accomplishment, that you can control, manage and measure. If something goes wrong, then don’t worry observe it with the positive attitude.
  • Create pleasent event. Don’t wait for mood gives time to your hobbies and feel happy . But just observe activities.
  • Engagement; – Stay in the present
  • Regular exercise will help you to increase strength. Do meditation. Eat right meal too.
  • Relationship- focus on the people who lift you up. Their positive attitude toward you will work as a medicine and that give you strength to stand up again.
  • Sleep regular but do not sleep too much or too little

In contrast depression tends to linger when patients make up a reason, why the can’t do these things. No matter what medication you are taking, doing several of these activities every day. Especially “when you don’t like it” is a vital to the treatment.
